What an exciting project! I could build an EV-ATV in only 4 months for under $10k. I summarized the main items in the table. However, making it street legal and debugging took me almost another 2 years. But I got side tracked with other things too. I am currently upgrading to solar charging, so I barely ever have to charge it with 110V.  I can drive to work, then it charges in the parking lot and is ready to go home in the evening!

I verified performance against specifications.

• Top speed of 35 mph -> checked
• Acceleration 0 - 35 mph in less than 10 s -> checked, about 6 s
• Range of 20 miles -> 10 miles checked with plenty of battery left. It all depends on your driving style
